Can’t find your pictures?

There are two options with the pictures that are missing:

  1. They were accidentally put in another folder. To find them, check teams before and after your daughters routine. If you find the correct routine, please let us know and we’ll get it updated.
  2. We didn’t get pictures of that routine. Although we hate to admit this, at times we have technical difficulties and don’t get pictures of a routine. It doesn’t happen much but it does happen.

UPDATE:

(May 2, 2012) We are in the process now of adding all the information to the website regarding your FREE DVD. We are also adding all the pictures that were taken at the event. These products will be available to order within 3-4 business days from TODAY (May 2, 2012). Come back frequently for updates.

Dear Studio Directors and Dance America Nationals Participants,

Highlight Sports will be delivering one DVD per participant at the Dance America Nationals 2012.  Some may have questions about the process.  This post aims to explain the process and verify shipping information.

DVD Options:

  • Option 1: Participants can choose to do nothing. However, if your studio competes in more than 15 routines, Highlight Sports will not be able to add every dance to the “generic” DVD.  We will randomly select up to 15 routines.
  • Option 2: Highlight Sports has the ability to personalize DVDs for the participants. This service is FREE. However, participants must come to the Highlight Sports booth to complete the custom DVD ordering process.  This process ensures that your dancers get the specific routines they want on their DVD. Dancers can also visit HighlightSports.com to order their custom DVD. Ordering will be open within 5-7 business days post-event or earlier.

Shipping Options:

  • Option 1: Generic DVDs and Customized DVDs can be shipped to the studio. This shipping process will begin the first week in June. We will ship to studios in alphabetical order.  The studio owner will then distribute DVDs to each student.  This shipping option is completely free.In order to ensure you receive your DVDs, you must come to the Highlight Sports booth to verify your studio or personal mailing address!
  • Option 2: The “ship to home” option is only for participants who choose to personalize their DVD. The “ship to home” orders will begin 1-2 weeks post-event.  The DVD is still free; however, this option has a $10 per order shipping and handling fee.

Extra Copies?

Each participant is only allowed to order 1 FREE DVD.  If they would like to order additional copies for family members or friends, they MUST come to the Highlight Sports booth, personalize their DVD, and add additional copies to their order.  Additional copies are only $5.

If, by chance, someone on your team orders multiple FREE DVDs by coming to the booth at different times, someone else on your team will NOT get a DVD. Highlight Sports has been given specific numbers regarding participants per studio and has allocated DVD distribution accordingly. Highlight Sports does not have a way to verify who has or hasn’t ordered a DVD at the event and thanks you all for your honesty.

    Hi. I would like to order a customized DVD of my daughters dance performances from Dance America 2012, at Juan Diego HS in Draper, Utah (April 27th & 28th). There were a ton of people at the booth and I was unable to place an order at the event. Can I still order a customized DVD? If you dcould let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

    My daughter danced at your competition at Juan Diego last saturday and we didn’t make it to your booth. However, we would still like to order the DVD. Is this still possible? The dances that I would like to ensure are on the DVD are Super Star and Tiki Room. Both dances were after 4:00 but I do not have the numbers.

  4. I am trying to add what dances I would like for the DVD… I have two dancers, Mckae Eldredge and Macie Eldredge. Please add Wicked Little girls trio (Friday night) to both DVD and as many of the Dance Project SLC studio dances as you can. If they do not all fit on the DVD please try and get the others on the next one…

    Hi I am looking for my daughters pictures. She is from On Stage Dance Studio. She was number 47 and she was wearing a black and gold dress. Will you please look for them? Thanks!

    • @Cami – we’ll definitely keep our eye out for them. You might look at the schedule and check out images of routines before and after your daughters. To do this, go to those routines studio and look through the pictures. Hope this helps.

  10. Everytime I click on the link to order I receive a fatal error message.

  11. I am having trouble accessing the link to the photos for this competition. Every time I click on any of the links I recieve a “Fatal error” message instead. Help! Thanks.

      We are going through images and will keep our eyes out. Unfortunately, at times, we may miss a dance or two with pictures (but not with DVD footage).

    Should we get a confirmation email or a confirmation # when we place an order to have it shipped to the Studio? I have gotten neither and want to make sure the order went through. Thanks.

    • @Melanie – currently no, you won’t get an email if you are having the DVD shipped to Studio. I am having our programmer work on this though to confirm Free Orders as well.

  16. On Synergy pictures the dance Bring me flowers is incorrect. That is some dance from another studio. I was able to look through all the other studios to find ours. In studio 1’s pictures the dance 12047-32 through 12047-50 is synergys bring me flowers. Could you correct this so we can order our dvds?

    • @Alicia – the picture error won’t effect the DVD ordering but thank you for the heads up. We’ll get this fixed as fast as we can and appreciate your help spotting the error.

    I am with Synergy Dance Academy. We did not receive all of our customized DVD’s that were ordered. Do we have another shipment coming?

    • @Kathy, we did have to ship two separate orders for Synergy because there were so many. You should have received all the orders, however. Let us know. Thanks.
